@zeb-stark said in Deray McKesson/Planet of The Apes:

But what if, and I know this is a big what if, but what if somebody working on the film who doesn't like Deray did in fact design that ape to represent him? That would be some fucked up shit, no?

That would be beyond fucked and also super petty. The thing about calling people out only works if people realize that you're calling them out. It's like making the best burn for someone but never using it.

I think it all comes down to who is healthy and so far, I would bet that it's Lacy that lead the Seahawks in rushing.

If he's healthy and gets 15+ snaps per game, he'll get to the 700-850 mark.

I don't have faith and Rawls or Prosise can stay healthy enough to get the reps needed. I agree with your numbers and thinking that we can have a solid RBBC this year.

If they are all healthy, I see us making it to the NFC Championship game no doubt.

And in other words, no one worth taking in Fantasy unless it's your 3rd or Flex position.

That is beyond some dumb shit.

I know that calling black people monkey/apes/etc is the racist thing... but saying that an ape wearing a blue vest equals this particular person seems pretty far fetched.

Trump might as well get upset that he gets compared to a orange left in the sun with mold for hair.

The 2017 training camp season starts July 30th and the Seahawks are hosting fans at the VMAC.

If you've never been, it's a fun way to kick off the season as it's the first time fans can see the team up close. With the new league rules, teams will not have to pare down the roster until the end of the pre-season. This means longer time for teams to try players out for roster spots instead of making quick decisions half way through.

My biggest concern about the whole #FakeNews is that this makes it worse for both sides down the road.

Regardless of what political spectrum you fall on, it is not a good thing when a person of political influence can say articles written about them are #FakeNews on the sole basis that is does not portray them in a manner in which they approve.

This is not going to be limited to a Republican vs. Democratic divide either. The worse thing that can happen in political discourse is for the walls that we hold for these elected officials to fall. It hurts the public when we can't hold our politicians to the heat and get the truth we deserve.

This cat is out of the bag and there is no chance it goes back.
