We'll never know but I wonder what the Pats win total would look like had he been the highest paid player all the years he deserved to be. Also how would that have effected the perception of Bill Belichick as the greatest NFL coach ever?

It's also a lot easier said than done when you're sitting with six superbowl rings already.
Not everyone is wired that way or married to someone richer than they are. It's not his fault that he has that choice, but it's not a common place.
