    PFF Draft:

USC's Rasheem Green finished tied for fifth this season among all draft-eligible interior defenders with his impressive 40 QB pressures.

    Per Pro Football Focus:

Seattle grabs DI Rasheem Green, who ranked 22nd in pass-rush productivity among draft-eligible interior defenders in 2017 (8.4)

  • First USC Trojan drafted under Pete Carroll.

  • @sammyc521 I think that's a really interesting fact lol.

Can't believe this guy is 20 years old. Really good body control that he uses for gap control or for rushing, and good use of the swim move in some of his highlight vids. Likes to set up the spin or swim move by bull-rushing the guard a lot of the time, then hitting them with the move as soon as the G thinks he's gotten good enough leverage and balance to stop the bullrush. Doesn't seem like much for speed rushing, and that could be because he still hasn't fully developed/grown into his massive frame, but if he can fill out a little more and/or improve his footwork he'll be an awesome DT/DE similar to Bennett. He's more explosive and faster than Bennett coming out of school while weighing-in at 1 pound heavier and, once again, only 20 years old. I like this comp and measurables:

    Rasheem Green: 6'4, 275 lbs, 33.75'' arms
    Michael Bennett: 6'4, 274 lbs, 33.63'' arms

    Green's 40: 4.73
    Bennett's 40: 5.13

    Green's 10-yard split: 1.65
    Bennett's 10-yard split: 1.78

    Green's vert: 33.5''
    Bennett's 40: 31.0''

    Green's broad jump: 118.0''
    Bennett's broad jump: 110.0''

  • Loving all the Michael Bennett comps. Now it did take some years before Bennett was the Bennett we know and love but I love that it's Ken Norton Jr. at the helm of everything.

  • @sammyc521 agreed, can't wait to see what Norton Jr. does back here with this group.
