Seattle Mariners 2017 Season
So we are at the half-way point with the Mariners 4 games out of the 2nd Wild Card with 5 team in-front of them.
While their roster is riddled with injuries they are not completely out of the race. That doesn't mean they may not offload some talent for the future.
Mariners have won 3-in-a-row and swept Chicago (started the series 11-games below .500 and now sit at 14-games below).
The Mariners climb to 46-47 and 3.0 games behind the Yankees (who come to Seattle this week) and Tampa Bay; Minnesota (2.0 GB) and Kansas City (2.5 GB) stand in-front of the Mariner's for the Wild Card.
Seattle's current Run Differential stands at 0 right now after their 3-game sweep.
If they can win the series against Houston I will raise my interest from a 6 to a 7!
Still around a 3-4.
Lost today but I aint even mad.. rested the bullpen and Paxton is pitching tomorrow.
Took 2 of 3 from the Astros and I think you're left with the feeling that we match up well with them. They are better and would win 6 out of 10 I think but it's closer than you'd think looking at the standings.
Yankees up next, at home.
